Anyway, we haven't got spam in the last few days. So the measures Daemon put in seem to be working. (for now...But as Daemon says, they'll catch on.)
The most important thing the hacker community does is write better code. Our deeds are the best propaganda we have. Most of us, most of the time, shouldn't be distracted by worrying about beating Microsoft's PR or countering their political moves, because writing good code is in the long run a far more potent weapon than flackery. -Eric S. Those measures have been in for 6 months now :( I'd hate to run a forum without any protection, next year I'll really lock them down however possible.

Well, its been 5 days since we last had a spammer...I guess the filters we put in place are holding up for now. (I probably jinxed it) :roll:

Sorry about bumping an old thread but do u think its time for a front page update? it kinda looks dead maybe a new logo to attact more people.

Maybe get a few hardware seller onbaord as well.

Just hate to see techwatch going to waste or let stmok change it around a bit.

BTW whos paying the domain fees?
